The official website for Reikenzan: Eichi eno Shikau (Qualification for Wisdom), the upcoming second season of TV anime adaptation of the popular Chinese web comic Reikenzan (the title's Chinese characters literally mean Spirits Blade Mountain), today opened with a 70-second PV announcing its January 7, 2017 premiere in Japan. The web comic has been reportedly viewed over 2.7 billion times in China since August 2014. The first season Hoshikuzu-tachi no Utage (Feast of the Stardust) was aired for 12 episodes from January to March 2016.
The PV also introduces the second season's OP theme song "Genkai Ketobashite" (Kicking the Limit Away) sung by five-member girls unit Merry☆Go☆Lands. The girls also perform the Ed song "Chikara ni Kaete" (Changing It into Power). The CD single containing both songs will be released on February 8, 2017.
