Plans have been spotted for Blood Blockade Battlefront & Beyond, the second season of the anime adaptation of Trigun creator Yasuhiro Nightow's supernatural action manga. Shigehito Takayanagi (Dagashi Kashi, Galaxy Angel, World God Only Knows) takes over from Rie Matsumoto on the Bones 2017 production.
Dagashi Kashi's Yasuko Kamo will be writing rather than Kazunao Furuya, but Toshihiro Kawamoto returns as character designer/animation director, along with Taisei Iwasaki on music. Cast will similarly be returning.
