According to an announcement made at the Jump Festa 2017 event that was held from December 17 - 18, 2016, at the Makuhari Messe convention center in Chiba City, YĆ«ki Tabata's fantasy action manga Black Clover is being adapted into a TV anime series with animation production by Studio Pierrot.
Further details on the production (such as staff, cast, and release date) have not yet been revealed. Black Clover was previously adapted into anime form by Xebec for an original animation DVD that will be released in Japan alongside the 11th volume of the manga on May 02, 2017.
Black Clover is serialized in Shueisha's Weekly ShĆnen Jump manga magazine. An English language version is also release by Viz Media, who describe the series as follows:
"Young Asta was born with no magic ability in a world where magic is everything. In order to prove his strength and keep a promise with his friend, Asta dreams of becoming the greatest mage in the land, the Wizard King!"
